Over her past four games, senior forward Olariche Obi is shooting 60 percent from the field while averaging 12.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. First-year forward Klaire Steffens has grabbed a team-high 46 offensive rebounds out of her 76 total rebounds (60 percent).

UChicago won its conference opener 88-80 over rival Washington University – St. Louis last Saturday. Sophomore forward Dominic Laravie scored a career-high 24 points, just one game after tallying her previous career best of 20 points versus Millikin University. UChicago scored 25 points off 13 WashU turnovers (1.9 points per turnover).

UChicago heads to the western suburbs for the Elmhurst College Al Hanke Invitational on Saturday.
The Maroons are coming off a 2-2 showing at the NWCA National Duals, which included wins over Centenary University (23-15) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (23-21). First-year Cole Riemer (149 pounds) was named UAA Athlete of the Week following his 3-0 showing, including a win over Augsburg University's No. 1-ranked wrestler in the nation. Junior Steve Bonsall (157 pounds) is riding a seven-match winning streak with five pins.

Indoor Track & Field
The Maroons kick off their season by hosting the annual Phoenix Invitational at Henry Crown Field house on Saturday afternoon.
Last winter and spring, UChicago's women won the indoor UAA team title and finished second at the UAA outdoor championships. The men took third at both meets. The Maroons combined to earn seven All-American awards during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
