No. 18-ranked UChicago (7-3 record) will travel to the suburbs for its largest competition of the season at Wheaton College's Pete Willson Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Pete Willson Invite is the oldest and largest small-college wrestling tournament in the country, with 1938 marking its debut. There will be 39 teams from across the nation in attendance.
At last year's Pete Willson Invite, Steve Bonsall (157 pounds) finished third and Kahlan Lee-Lermer (165 pounds) took fourth on the podium. Both wrestlers also finished top eight in their weight classes as first-years. UChicago is coming off a 23-14 victory over Elmhurst College last Saturday.

Indoor Track & Field
The Maroons return to the track this weekend at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The men will compete in the "Squig" Converse Invitational on Friday and Saturday, and the women will take part in the Warhawk Classic Invitational on Saturday.
Inclement weather conditions cancelled last week's meet at Illinois Wesleyan University. Junior Mary Martin currently ranks seventh nationally in the women's 200 meters (25.61), while senior Alexandra Thompson is 15th in the women's high jump (1.64 meters) and junior Alexander Scott is 18th in the men's shot put (15.36 meters)

The No. 19-ranked Maroons (12-4 overall, 3-2 UAA) are set to host Case Western Reserve University (12-4, 4-1 UAA) on Friday night and Carnegie Mellon University (10-6, 1-4 UAA) on Sunday afternoon.
Last weekend on the road, UChicago rallied past Brandeis University 71-62 and lost in overtime at New York University 66-62. The Maroons grabbed 32 offensive rebounds in those games. UChicago has won four-straight against CMU with an average victory margin of 27 points.

UChicago (11-5 overall, 4-1 UAA) looks to maintain its spot atop the University Athletic Association with a pair of weekend home games. Case Western Reserve (8-8, 1-4 UAA) is first up on Friday, followed by Carnegie Mellon (8-8, 3-2 UAA) on Sunday.
The Maroons swiped 19 steals combined versus Brandeis and NYU last weekend. Sophomore forward Brennan McDaniel currently ranks third in the UAA in three-point percentage (.421). Junior guard Jordan Baum scored a season-high 23 points at NYU and is averaging 16.0 points per game over his past four games.

Swimming & Diving
UChicago will celebrate Senior Day during Saturday afternoon's home triangular meet versus Calvin College and DePauw University in the Myers-McLoraine Pool.
Last weekend, UChicago's men and women defeated Lewis University (160-116 / 203-91) and Olivet Nazarene University (194-78 / 224-73) at home. The dual scheduled at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was cancelled due to snowy conditions. The Maroon women are 5-0 in dual/triangular home meets this season while the men are 4-1.

Men's and Women's Tennis
The Maroons commence their 2019 schedule with indoor matches versus NCAA Division II opponent Lewis University on Saturday at XS Tennis.
In last year's bout with Lewis, UChicago's men won 7-2 while the women secured a 5-4 victory. Catherine Xu won her No. 3 singles match in three sets 6-4, 5-7, 7-6. The men took five of the six singles bouts and two of the three doubles.
