CHICAGO – Three University of Chicago student-athletes were selected as University Athletic Association (UAA) Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Jeremy Yuan was the UAA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week after an undefeated weekend of action. The sophomore went 4-0 between singles and doubles over the weekend versus Hope College and No. 25-ranked Kalamazoo College. He was dominant at No. 1 doubles with teammate Tyler Raclin, winning matches by scores of 8-2 and 8-4. At No. 2 singles, he rallied for a three-set comeback versus Hope and won in straight sets against Kalamazoo. Yuan improved to 9-4 in singles and 11-3 in doubles this season.
