No. 2-ranked UChicago (24-2 record) will serve as host for the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on Friday and Saturday. The Maroons take on University of Rochester (11-18) in the opening match on Friday at Noon.
UChicago is the top seed at the eight-team conference tournament after posting a 7-0 record in the preceding UAA Round Robins. The Maroons picked up their third regular season UAA title (2013, 2016, 2019). Their last UAA Championship title occurred in 2013. UChicago leads the conference in kills per set (14.04), assists per set (12.97) and digs per set (20.6).

The Maroons make their season debut on Saturday morning at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Invitational.
UChicago posted a 10-3 dual meet record last year and won its second-consecutive UAA team championship, topping New York University 36-3 and Case Western Reserve University 34-6. The Maroons ended up placing 24th at the NCAA Division III Championships thanks to All-American performances by Kyle Peisker (fifth at 184 pounds) and Ben Sarasin (seventh at 174 pounds).

No. 16-ranked UChicago (12-2-2 record, 4-1-1 UAA) hosts No. 3-ranked Washington University – St. Louis (15-1-1, 6-0 UAA) in the UAA finale on Saturday morning on Stagg Field.
The Maroons went 1-1 last week, including a 3-2 comeback victory against No. 23-ranked Carnegie Mellon University. Senior midfielder Hanna Watkins accounted for two goals directly in front of the net, while junior midfielder Maddie DeVoe delivered the game-winning penalty kick in the 83rd minute. UChicago has converted four penalty kicks over the course of the season.

UChicago continues its dual-meet portion of the schedule with a road matchup at rival Washington University – St. Louis on Saturday.
Last weekend, the Maroons produced another dominant display, winning 29 of 32 events against Carthage College. UChicago swept the UAA athlete of the week awards with senior Agnes Lo and first-year Andrew Chen in diving, alongside first-year Yunfan Dong and junior Keda Song in swimming. A total of eight athletes earned multiple individual wins in the Carthage meet.

The No. 6-ranked Maroons (10-1-5 record, 6-0 UAA) wrap up their UAA schedule with a home contest versus Washington-St. Louis (8-6-1, 3-3 UAA).
UChicago claimed its fourth-straight UAA conference title over the weekend, and its fifth in six years. The Maroons topped visiting Case Western Reserve University and Carnegie Mellon University by matching 1-0 margins. Defenders were responsible for both scores – junior Scott Lich and first-year Richard Gillespie. UChicago has outscored its six league opponents by a total of 11-0.

No. 18-ranked UChicago kicks off the 2019-20 season with a Sunday home game against No. 12-ranked University of Texas-Dallas.
Last year, the Maroons posted a 19-7 overall record and tied for second place in the UAA. They qualified for the NCAA postseason for the third-straight season. UChicago returns 10 players to the fold, including All-American senior forward Taylor Lake (14.3 PPG), senior guard Mia Farrell (12.3 PPG) and senior guard Miranda Burt (11.1 PPG). The Maroons limited teams to 62.2 points per game while forcing 19.2 turnovers per contest.

The Maroons open up their 25-game season slate on the road at Millikin University on Sunday afternoon.
UChicago's 2018-19 squad compiled a 15-10 overall record, finishing fourth in the UAA standings. Nine returning players are back on the roster, including senior guard Jordan Baum (12.1 PPG, 6.0 APG), junior forward Dominic Laravie (11.8 PPG, 5.2 RPG) and senior guard Cole Schmitz (11.1 PPG, 5.4 RPG). The Maroons' balanced offense featured seven players who scored at least seven points per game and four players with at least 11 points per game.
