Already this season, two Maroons have surpassed 1,000 career points – forward Taylor Lake (Nov. 16) and guard Mia Farrell (Nov. 26). A total of 15 UChicago women's basketball players have reached that milestone. Senior guard Miranda Burt owns the hot hand lately, hitting 12 three-pointers the last two games while averaging 23 points.

UChicago last competed at the Concordia (Wis.) University Open and Coe College Invite on November 23. Sophomore Maguire Pecci was the top finisher at Coe, taking second at 165 pounds. Senior Steve Bonsall (157 pounds) tallied a pair of technical fall victories to give him four on the year.

UChicago (2-5 record) is back in action with a Saturday afternoon home game versus Kalamazoo College (3-4).
The Maroons are coming off an 85-51 win over Washington College, in which the home team led by 31 points in the first half. Three players tallied double-doubles in the game – junior Dominic Laravie (23 points / 10 rebounds), first-year Bryce Hopkins (13 points / 10 rebounds) and senior Cole Schmitz (11 points / 10 rebounds). Laravie has scored 23 points in each of the past two games while shooting 57 percent from the field.
