UChicago (3-2 record) wrestles its final home meet of the season against No. 10-ranked North Central College (10-4) on Wednesday night. The squad then heads to the western suburbs on Saturday for Elmhurst College's Al Hanke Invitational.
The Maroons have won eight of their past 12 dual meets versus teams from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW). UChicago most recently went 2-1 at the D3 National Challenge on January 4, with wins over Alma College (41-10) and host Case Western Reserve University (44-12). Senior Kyle Peisker subsequently picked up University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week honors as he went 3-0 with one pin and two technical falls.

Indoor Track & Field
The Maroons hit the road for the first time this season on Friday and will participate in Grand Valley State University's Bill Clinger Classic.
UChicago's dominating season debut at the Phoenix Invitational last weekend resulted in the Maroons sweeping all four UAA Athletes of the Week – senior Alexander Scott (men's field), senior Isabel Garon (women's field), junior Ryan Cutter (men's track) and junior Sophie Elgamal (women's track). Scott was also named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week for NCAA Division III thanks to his school-record breaking shot put throw of 17.53 meters, which is the top mark in the nation currently.

UChicago returns to the pool after a holiday break with a pair of home meets this weekend. The Maroons will face off with Lewis University and Olivet Nazarene University on Friday night, followed by a Senior Day meet versus University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon.
The last time UChicago and Wisconsin-Milwaukee faced off in 2018, the men clinched their first dual win ever against an NCAA Division I opponent, topping the Panthers 152-134. The Maroons defeated Lewis and Olivet Nazarene in last year's tri-meet as well. So far this season, UChicago's men and women are both 2-1 in dual meets with first-place showings at the Phoenix Fall Classic.

The No. 14-ranked Maroons (10-2 record, 1-0 UAA) head east for a pair of conference contests at Carnegie Mellon University (7-5, 0-1 UAA) on Friday and Case Western Reserve University (6-6, 1-0 UAA) on Sunday.
UChicago began UAA play last weekend with a 78-64 road win at rival Washington University – St. Louis. Senior guard Miranda Burt (22 points) and senior forward Taylor Lake (21 points, 9 rebounds) led the attack while first-year guard Grace Hynes posted a double-double (13 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds). The last time a Maroon women's player dished out double-digit assists came in February 2008 when Jamie Stinson also tallied 10 at Carnegie Mellon.

UChicago (5-7, 0-1 UAA) are on the road this weekend, starting with Carnegie Mellon (7-5, 0-1 UAA) on Friday night and concluding with Case Western Reserve (8-4, 1-0 UAA) on Sunday afternoon.
The Maroons lost its UAA season debut 66-65 at Washington-St. Louis last Saturday. Senior guard Jordan Baum scored a career-best 27 points which included seven three-pointers. UChicago's record for three-pointers in a game was established by Noah Karras, who sank 11 against Case Western Reserve in 2017. The Maroons rank second in the UAA with 120 three-pointers made this season (10 per game).
