CHICAGO – The University of Chicago garnered four total selections to the 2020 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Women's diver Agnes Lo earned a spot on the list after completing the most decorated career in UChicago diving history. The senior environmental and urban studies was a six-time All-American standout on both the one-meter and three-meter diving boards. At the 2019 NCAA Division III Championships, she placed national runner-up in the three-meter dive and third in the one-meter dive. That same year, she was the NCAA regional champion on both boards. At the conference level, Lo was a six-time University Athletic Association (UAA) champion and three-time UAA Diver of the Year. She owns three school records as well.
Senior Marjorie Antohi was also an at-large honoree in women's tennis. She majored in both computer science and English language & literature. An All-American in both singles and doubles, Antohi was a fixture at the top of the lineup for the top 10-ranked Maroons. UChicago defeated 39 nationally-ranked teams over the past four years, while advancing to the NCAA Championship quarterfinals in three-straight seasons. She was also picked First Team All-UAA four times. Antohi's career record stands at 68-20 in singles and 56-26 in doubles.
Tyler Raclin wrapped up his collegiate career with academic all-district distinction in men's tennis. A senior computer science major, Raclin was a four-year starter for a Maroons squad that reached the NCAA Championship semifinals twice and defeated 40 nationally-ranked teams in his time on the team. He was a three-time All-American in doubles play, with three Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region doubles titles. In 2017, he won the ITA Oracle Cup doubles championship (Division III). Raclin posted a career doubles record of 80-29.
Ben Sarasin rounded out the men's at-large contingent. A sophomore economics major, Sarasin is a two-time All-American for the Maroon wrestling team. He placed seventh at 174 pounds at the 2019 NCAA Championships and was named a 2020 NWCA First Team All-American at 184 pounds. Additionally, Sarasin is a two-time UAA champion and the 2019 NCAA Upper Midwest Regional champion (174 pounds). His career record stands at 58-9, which included a 26-1 mark during the 2019-20 season.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams are voted upon by the membership of CoSIDA. Academic All-District recipients must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution. The CoSIDA Academic All-America honorees will be announced from June 16-19.
