CHICAGO, Ill. – The University of Chicago women's tennis team routed Coe College with a 9-0 sweep on Saturday. The No. 12-ranked Maroons improved to 9-7 while the Kohawks fell to 16-4.
UChicago raced to the team victory without dropping a set in any of the matches. All six Maroons earned two wins on the day as the team picked up its second 9-0 victory of the year.
"The ladies picked up a nice win today heading into the showdown with WashU tomorrow," said Head Coach Jay Tee. "We played focused tennis and did a good job of keeping the intensity up throughout the entire match."
