AUGUSTANA, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's cross country took home their fourth consecutive first-place finish of the season on Saturday with another dominating performance at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
Siméon Gheysens led the Maroons with a collegiate best time of 26:33.2 to bring home a third-place finish in the meet.
Jason Xu joined Gheysens in the top-5 with a time of 26:37.0 to finish in fourth-place.
Three more UChicago athletes brought home top-10 finishes to help seal the meet win for the Maroons as
Max Huang finished sixth with a time of 26:54.0,
Matthew Lund finished seventh with a time of 26:55.6, and
Luke Moore finished eighth with a time of 27:01.7.
The University of Chicago will return to action on Saturday, October 18, as they travel back to Augustana (IL) for the Augustana Interregional Invitational in their final pre-UAA tune-up.
