Abs 15
15 minutes of jam packed core work! Free for all members. This is a fun class to stop in to after your own workout or to stay for after your FitChicago workout. All abs welcome!

Barre
This low-impact, high-energy total body workout is designed tostrengthen and lengthen muscles while improving balance, flexibilityand coordination. Following a dynamic warm-up and free weightexercises, the class moves to ballet barre for lower body moves, thenends with core and flexibility work. No dance experience is necessary.

Boot Camp
Looking for a way to take your fitness routine to the next level? Then Boot Camp is just for you! Push your body to its limits in this invigorating 50-minute class. Boot Camp is a great way to challenge your body, learn new exercises and reach your fitness goals. Core work is incorporated throughout, along with a flexibility portion at the end.

Cardio Kickboxing
This super fat-burning class is the best way to get up and get started in the morning with a high calorie burn. It combines intense shadow kickboxing moves with fast-paced conditioning and ends with core-strengthening abdominal work.

Group Resistance Training
A resistance training workout focused on upper body, lower body, and midsection. This class will improve strength, power, balance, and muscular endurance. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.

Pilates
Pilates includes exercises and poses that emphasize strength, flexibility, stabilization, and posture, with a focus on proper movement mechanics. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.

Private Swim Lessons
Whether you want to just learn to swim, refine your swimming technique, or train to compete, private swim lessons are now available to Ratner members ages three and older. All ability levels can be accommodated. Lessons are taught by Mary Flynn, owner and operator of Learn to Swim with Mary, LLC. Mary has 17 years of competitive experience and has been a swim instructor in the Chicago area for 30 years. She has taught all levels of swimming, including special needs children as well as state champion competitors. Lessons are priced at $35 for a 30-minute session, and there is no limit on the number of lessons you can take.

4) Obtain a private swim lesson card and bring it to your lesson(s) to turn in to the instructor.

Strong By Zumba
This is a high-intensity interval workout driven by the science of SyncedMusic Motivation. Unlike all other workouts to music, we don't justcreate moves to a playlist. Instead, we craft and reverse engineerthe songs to match every move, driving the intensity in a challengingprogression that provides a total body workout. The result is a groupfitness experience like no other. This class will push you past yourcurrent limits to reach your fitness goals faster. Using your own bodyweight, you will develop muscular endurance, tone and definition aswell as experience an increased afterburn.

Yoga, Beginning
This class is for those who have never done Yoga and those who wish to review the fundamentals. It emphasizes proper alignment in the asanas (poses), breathing practices, and beginning yoga philosophy. Participants receive personal attention and clear, deliberate demonstrations and explanations.

Yoga, Intermediate
Though appropriate for all levels, this class is primarily intended for advanced beginners. It builds strength, flexibility, and concentration with a moderate pace. Vinyasa flow sequencing is included with emphasis on the breath. This class will explore the benefits of various asana (poses) including hip-openers, backbends, twists, and core-strengtheners. Come as you are!

Zumba
Zumba focuses on hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow movements to create a unique fitness program that will blow you away. You will achieve long term benefits while having a blast. The class will feature calorie-burning activities, body-energizing routines, and interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms combining with resistance training to tone and sculpt your body. Add Latin flavor and international zest into this mix and you've got Zumba. It's not just a workout, it's a party! Zumba requires no specific level of fitness and no dance background.
