CHICAGO, Ill. - The University of Chicago men's basketball team had four of its players earn selection to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) teams on Monday.
Junior guard Royce Muskeyvalley earned Second Team All-UAA status to pair with his Honorable Mention All-UAA pick last year. Over the 14-game conference schedule, Muskeyvalley averaged 9.9 points, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game. He finished the regular season with 10.1 points per game, 3.7 assists per game and 1.4 steals per game.
Davis averaged 10.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 50.9 percent from the field in UAA action. He ended his senior season with 8.4 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game and a team-high 21 blocked shots.
Gage was the team's top rebounder across the full season and in conference play with 5.8 rebounds per game. He capped his year with 8.4 points per game in the UAA and 7.6 points per game for the whole season.
Smith, who was last year's UAA Rookie of the Year, led the Maroons with 12.0 points per game in the UAA half of the season and 11.2 points per game overall. He also averaged 3.9 rebounds per game in conference and 3.4 rebounds per game total. Additionally, Smith led the team with 38 three-pointers and a 40.9 three-point percentage.
