The two teams previously met in the tournament in 2016 second round, which St. Thomas won 2-0 … In this year's tournament, the Norse topped Knox College 1-0 in overtime and advanced past Dominican University 3-2 thanks to goals in the 75th and 88th minutes … Luther has shutout 11 opponents this season.

  • Notes: The Tommies finished fourth in the MIAC and received an at-large bid to the postseason … In winning 1-0 versus Pacific Lutheran University and 5-0 versus University of Wisconsin-Superior at home last weekend, UST senior goalkeeper Aidan Hogan recorded his 50th and 51st career wins and his 31st and 32nd career shutouts … The Tommies have six consecutive shutouts and a defensive scoreless streak of 622-plus minutes. They have allowed just one goal in their last 796 minutes of play … St. Thomas is 11-0-5 in its last 16 overtime games.
