24 Maroon Swimmers & Divers Gain CSCAA All-America Status

2019 CSCAA All-Americans

CHICAGO – The University of Chicago swimming and diving teams were well-represented on the 2019 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-America list with 24 total honorees.

The Maroons produced a record-setting finish to the 2019 campaign with their highest team placements ever at the NCAA Division III Championships. The women took sixth while the men were eighth in the final team standings. The Maroon All-Americans included 12 men and 12 women. Junior Byrne Litschgi provided the top highlight by winning the national title in the men's 200-yard backstroke.

Individuals and relays who finished in the top eight were named to the First Team while ninth to 16th place finishers are recognized as Honorable Mention.
