CHICAGO – The University of Chicago diving squads competed locally against NCAA Division I and Division III opponents at Saturday's University of Illinois-Chicago Diving Invitational.
Sophomore Elizabeth Cron was the top Maroon finisher out of 23 divers at the meet. Cron placed second in the one-meter dive with a score of 263.60, then took sixth with a score of 256.15. Senior Agnes Lo was the next highest UChicago diver – she was fourth in the one-meter (250.55) and seventh in the three-meter (253.75). Sophomore Alice Saparov finished ninth in the one-meter and 10th in the three-meter, while first-year Evanna Peng was eighth in the one-meter and 11th in the three-meter.
On the men's side, first-year Logan Sherwin placed 11th in the one-meter dive (246.90) and 10th in the three-meter dive (283.55).
