UChicago Men’s Tennis Shuts Out Augustana 9-0

FLOSSMOOR, Ill. – The University of Chicago men's tennis team raced past Augustana College by a 9-0 margin on Wednesday.

The No. 1-ranked Maroons improved to 13-1 while the Vikings dropped to 15-5.

UChicago cruised first and third doubles by scores of 8-2 and 8-1, respectively. Second doubles finished off the sweep 8-6. The Maroons then dominated singles, limiting their opponents to five games or fewer in all six matches. Junior Erik Kerrigan and senior Charlie Pei only surrendered one game each in their wins. Kerrigan, Pei and sophomore Jeremy Yuan each tallied two victories on the day.
