CHICAGO – Four members of the University of Chicago men's tennis team were named to the 2020 All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Team on Tuesday.
Jeremy Yuan tallied a pair of First Team All-UAA recognitions in both singles and doubles. The junior has now earned five career All-UAA selections, including three times in singles. Yuan went 9-1 in singles play primarily at the No. 4 spot and a perfect 8-0 between the top two doubles spots.
Erik Kerrigan became a First Team All-UAA doubles pick for the third-straight season. It also marked his fourth career All-UAA honor. The senior posted a 10-2 doubles record, primarily playing with Yuan at No. 1 and No. 2.
Rookie Sachin Das was a First Team selection in singles play. Playing primarily at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots in the starting lineup, Das went 9-3 overall in his debut campaign.
Alex Guzhva tallied his second All-UAA honor of his career by gaining a spot on the First Team singles. Last year, he was a Second Team singles performer. The Maroon sophomore split time between the No. 4 and No. 5 positions and recorded an 8-1 mark on the season.
