NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The University of Chicago track and field teams put up four top-10 individual performances at day one of the North Central College Dr. Keller Invitational on Thursday.
Senior Ade Ayoola was the top placer on the day for the Maroons. She finished third in the high jump with a height of 1.67 meters. Senior Khia Kurtenbach put up a fifth-place showing in the women's 5,000 meters – she crossed the finish line in 16:57.09.
In the men's field events, sophomore Alexander Scott led the way in the discus. He took fourth with a mark of 46.37 meters. Senior pole vaulter Nathan Downey took sixth overall with top height of 4.61 meters.
