UChicago Men's Track & Field Claims Three Titles at Wheaton Twilight Meet

WHEATON, Ill. – The University of Chicago men's track & field team earned three event titles in a solid showing at Tuesday's Wheaton College Don Church Twilight Meet.

First-year John McCormick (triple jump), Henry Myers (1,500 meters), and Jack Barbour (3,000 steeplechase) all claimed firsts in their events to help the Maroons place fourth overall in the 12-team standings.

In total, UChicago recorded 17 Top 7 finishes, including Will Norton's runner-up finish in the 3,000 meters, in the final tune-up before the University Athletic Association Outdoor Championships held April 27-28 in Atlanta, Ga.
