Preview: Maroon cross country squads to race at Wisconsin-Oshkosh

CHICAGO – The University of Chicago men's and women's cross country teams will face their stiffest competition to date when they head out to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh AAE Invitational on Saturday.

The Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invite typically features a large number of nationally-ranked squads and most of the top teams in the region. The Maroon women are currently ranked No. 13 in the nation by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while the men were recently in the Also Receiving Votes category. Last year at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invite, the women were 9th out of 42 teams and the men took 14th place out of 45 teams.
