OSHKOSH, Wis. – Hanna Watkins scored the game-winner in the 16th minute and the No. 2-ranked University of Chicago women's soccer team put the game out of reach late in a 3-0 road win at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Saturday.

Watkins netted her fourth score of the year early in the first half on a 10-yard header via a cross from Mackenzie Peebles to give the undefeated Maroons (8-0) a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

UChicago dominated play throughout the second half to the tune of a total shot differential of 30-2. But it took the Maroons until the 83rd minute to add some breathing room when junior forward Jenna McKinney struck for her fifth goal of the season on a pass from senior Madori Spiker.

With the match in hand, rookie Claudia Hodgetts scored for the second time in two games with her shot from 18 yards out in the 87th with the aid of a McKinney assist.

Freshman keeper Miranda Malone preserved the shutout to tally her third win of the year while stopping two shots in the process. In shots on goal, the Maroons finished with a 12-2 margin and earned 13 corner kicks compared to zero for the Titans (3-4-1).

Kelsey Moore led with six shots, Mia Calamari and McKinney each recorded five shots and Spiker and Watkins added four apiece for the Maroons' offense.

UChicago continued its dominant play Saturday, as the Maroons have won all eight games this season by at least a two-goal margin and are outscoring their opponents 33-3. Five of eight matches have been shutouts.
