GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Rookie Nicole Willing's goal with just over a minute to play in regulation completed the come-from-behind effort to lift the No. 3 University of Chicago women's soccer team to a thrilling 2-1 road win at Calvin Saturday.

With the game tied at 1-all, Willing netted her third score of the season on an unassisted strike and the Maroons' defense held strong in the final 66 seconds to seal the win over the Knights (5-3-1) and keep the visitors unbeaten at 8-0-1.

Calvin surprised the Maroons early, taking a one-goal lead in just the third minute when the Knights' Mackenna Nesky scored her fifth goal of the year at the 2:38 mark. The Knights would hold that lead through the half, until UChicago junior Hanna Watkins knotted up the game in the 53' on an unassisted play.

For Watkins, it was her fifth goal of the season.

UChicago nipped the Knights on total shots, 14-11, but had 10 shots on goal to Calvin's five. Calvin did have more corner kicks, 4-3, though neither team earned one in the second half.

Second-half keeper Katie Donovan was credited with the win, stopping one shot, while starter Miranda Malone recorded three saves in her 45 minutes of play.
