CHICAGO – Three members of the University of Chicago women's soccer team were picked to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's All-Central Region on Monday.
Jenna McKinney was a First Team All-Region midfielder for the third-straight year. It marked her fourth overall appearance on the All-Region squad. The senior paced the Maroons in scoring with 10 goals and two assists, including four game-winners. In the school's career rankings, she is second in goals (43), second in points (107) and seventh in assists (21).
Mackenzie Peebles became a two-time First Team defender selection. The junior posted three goals and one assist while serving as anchor of the back line. UChicago shut out six opponents on the season with a 0.99 goals against average. The Maroons outshot opponents 410-153 in total.
Hanna Watkins secured Third Team status as a midfielder. The junior was second on the team in scoring with nine goals (four game-winners) and three assists. She is currently 10th in UChicago history with 23 career goals.
