CHICAGO – University of Chicago's Clare Suter was named to the Academic All-District Women's Soccer Team by the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) on Thursday.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams are voted upon by the membership of CoSIDA. Academic All-District recipients must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution.
Suter, a public policy major, has played in 13 games with 12 starts for the No. 16-ranked Maroons. As a starting defender, she has helped UChicago compile six shutouts with a 0.73 goals against average on the season. Suter has also contributed five assists offensively.
