CHICAGO – The University of Chicago women's soccer team earned three selections to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches (USC) Women's Scholar All-North/Central Region Teams on Monday.
Senior Hanna Watkins was a First Team pick from her attacking midfielder position. An economics major, Watkins led the team in points with 12 goals and six assists. She has already secured USC Second Team All-American status earlier in December.
Joining her on the First Team was junior Maddie DeVoe. The defender/midfielder roamed the flank for the Maroons, totaling two goals and two assists offensively while also contributing to the defense's seven shutouts and 0.75 goals allowed per game. A computer science major, DeVoe was also a USC First Team All-Region honoree two weeks earlier.
Katie Jasminski garnered Second Team status after a standout junior campaign. At her forward position, Jasminski was second on the team in points with seven goals and six assists. An economics major, she was also a First Team All-Region recipient in early December.
