Maroon Women’s Soccer Announces Incoming 2020 Recruits

CHICAGO – University of Chicago Head Women's Soccer Coach Amy Reifert announced on Friday that the Maroons will add seven first-year players to the 2020 roster.

"Our 2024 class is outstanding," Reifert said. "They bring tremendous athletic ability, technical skills and tactical vision that will add greatly to our play and ultimate success. Most importantly, they are incredible young women who add greatly to our culture and team dynamic."

In the 2019 season, the Maroons posted a 14-3-3 overall record. The team qualified for the NCAA postseason for the seventh year in-a-row, advancing to the Round of 16. UChicago tallied six all-conference selections, five all-region honorees and one All-American (Hanna Watkins).

 

Alai Araujo-Elorza

Adrienne Chan

Malia Cohen

Allison Embroski

Justice Gardner

Maggie Jameson
