UChicago swimmers honor seniors in dual meet versus Wisconsin-Milwaukee

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's and women's swim teams recognized their 19 seniors in a dual meet versus University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday. UWM came away with a 168-130 win on the men's side and a 180-116 win on the women's side.

Before the meet began, UChicago introduced the eight men and 11 women who are seniors on this year's squads. The Maroons ended up taking first place in nine events (five men, four women) against the Panthers, who compete in NCAA Division I.

Senior men (8): Denver Barrows, Alan Chen, Kevin Chen, Charles Du, Alec Gazda, Wade Gong, Bobby Morales, Kevin Yang.

Senior women (11): Katherine Crain, Joyce Du, Grete Grubelich, Hannah Loek, Olivia Mapes, Andrea McPike, Julie Pendleton, Kelly Runyan, Becky Schmidt, Tatum Stewart, Kathleen Taylor
