UChicago swimming and diving competes at Wisconsin-Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – In their first dual meet versus an NCAA Division I opponent this season, the University of Chicago swimming and diving teams lost on the road at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday. The Panthers won men's dual 183-113 and the women's dual 200-98.

UChicago's men won four races on the day. Senior Andrew Angeles was a multiple winner in the breaststroke, emerging in first place in the 100-yard (58.84) and the 200-yard (2:09.42). Sophomore Mantim Lee captured the team's first victory of the day, posting a time of 52.11 in the 100-yard backstroke. Sophomore Kevin Ku was victorious in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:55.74.

The Maroons had one win on the women's side. Freshman Sydney Wong bested the field by 1.12 seconds in her winning effort in the 200-yard butterfly (2:11.18).
