GRANVILLE, Ohio – The University of Chicago divers concluded their most successful regional in school history on Saturday at the NCAA Diving Regional hosted by Denison University.

The meet included 22 men and 22 women competing on both the one-meter and three-meter boards on the weekend.

One day after sweeping the top four spots in the women's one-meter dive, the Maroons replicated the feat in the three-meter dive on Saturday. Sophomore Elizabeth Cron became a two-time champion at the meet by capturing the three-meter title with a score of 457.10 points. Senior Agnes Lo was close behind in second place with 453.30 points. Sophomore Alice Saparov scored 442.75 points to take third while first-year Evanna Peng tallied 439.80 points to place fourth.

The men's one-meter dive saw first-year Andrew Chen reel in a second place showing, scoring 471.50 points. Fellow rookie Logan Sherwin grabbed fourth place overall (431.90 points).

With the combined results from Friday and Saturday, UChicago is in line to send all six of its divers to the NCAA Division III Championships. Official selections will be announced on Monday.
