CHICAGO – Six members of the University of Chicago women's tennis team garnered recognition on the 2019 All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Teams on Monday.
The First Team All-UAA featured four Maroon players. Junior Marjorie Antohi gained the singles selection at the top of the lineup and currently owns an 18-7 record. The No. 1 doubles combo of sophomore Catherine Xu and first-year Eugenia Lee were First Team picks with a season record of 13-7. First-year Lauren Park also earned a spot in the group in singles with a 12-6 mark that includes a current nine-match winning streak.
The Second Team included a pair of UChicago first-years with Park and Nicole Semenov as a doubles duo. The pairing is a perfect 7-0 so far this year. Additionally, Semenov was a Second Team recipient in singles. Her 19-2 record leads the team, which features a current undefeated streak of eight matches.
First-year Annika Pandey rounded out the awardees with Honorable Mention All-UAA status in singles. Her record this year stands at 18-5.
