CHICAGO – The University of Chicago women's tennis team captured six more singles wins and the first-year duo of Claudia Ng and Perene Wang won at singles to cap the three-day Chicago State Invitational Sunday at XS Tennis Center.
Lauren Park, Marjorie Antohi, Annika Pandey, Eugenia Lee, Brigitte Wu and Isabella Gomez all won their respective singles matches, with the senior Antohi pulling off a comeback win over NCAA Division I opponent Nina Marjanovic of Bradley, 2-6, 6-0, 10-8.
Ng and Wang also picked up a victory over the Braves, topping the Bradley duo of Bozana Lojpur and Nikki Perlwitz, 6-4, 6-4.
The Maroons return to action this week with the five-day ITA Central Regional in Kalamazoo, Mich., which kicks off Thursday
