Men 1st, Women 4th After UAA Championship Day 1

NEW YORK -- After the first day of the 2012 University Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships at the New Balance Track & Field Center in Manhattan, the University of Chicago led the way on the men's side while occupying fourth place in the women's competition.

Three Maroons earned All-Association honors in men's events and three others advanced to the finals in their respective events. Three Maroons reached the finals on the women's side.
