UChicago Track & Field Wraps Up Two-Day North Central Gregory Invite

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – In the final outdoor meet before NCAA nationals, the University of Chicago track and field teams competed in the two-day North Central College Gregory Invitational on Wednesday and Thursday.

UChicago pulled in four total wins during the meet. Junior Alexander Scott was double winner in the men's discus and shot put with marks of 47.74 meters and 14.91 meters, respectively. Junior Mary Martin took the long jump at 5.67 meters, and junior Laura Darcey captured the high jump at 1.68 meters.

The Maroons also received a pair of runner-up finishes from senior Nicole VacaGuzman in the women's 400 meters (56.13) and senior Tali Naibryf in the women's 200 meters (25.52).
