CHICAGO – The University of Chicago track and field teams will be represented by seven athletes at the upcoming NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. The national qualifiers list was released on Friday night.
The three-day NCAA meet will occur Thursday-Saturday, May 23-25 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. University of Mount Union will serve as the host.
UChicago will participate in six total events. Junior Laura Darcey, senior Nicole VacaGuzman, junior Mary Martin and first-year Isabel Maletich have all qualified for NCAA nationals previously. Maletich won the national championship in the women's indoor long jump back in March.
