KENOSHA, Wis. -- The No. 13-ranked University of Chicago volleyball team began the Carthage College Invite with a 3-1 victory over Dominican University and a 3-0 win against University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday. The Maroons improved their record to 7-2.
In the day's first match against Dominican, the Stars took the first set 25-21. But UChicago proceeded to win the next three sets by identical 25-18 scores. Over the past two season, the Maroons have a record of 22-5 in four-set matches.
