CHICAGO – Five members of the University of Chicago volleyball team were picked to the All-Association Teams by the University Athletic Association (UAA) on Tuesday.
Maren Loe repeated as a First Team All-UAA selection. She has now been named to the First Team twice and Second Team twice in her collegiate career. The senior outside hitter currently ranks sixth in NCAA Division III in kills (544) and seventh in kills per set (4.53) – Loe led the UAA in both categories. She is also hitting for a .231 percentage with 37 aces, 354 digs (2.95 per set) and 50 blocks.
Audrey Scrafford was named Second Team All-UAA and UAA Rookie of the Year. The freshman outside hitter stepped fully into the lineup in early October and ranks second on the team and third in the UAA with 3.21 kills per set. Her 228 kills ranks third on the Maroons while her .262 hitting percentage is second. Scrafford also has 48 digs and 20 blocks this season.
Ragine Graves was selected as Honorable Mention All-UAA at her setter position. The senior is averaging 10.1 assists per set – the 37th best rate in the nation. Her 2,790 career assists ranks sixth in school history. She is second on the team in digs with 394 (3.72 per set) and has served up 18 aces.
Fellow senior Jasmine Mobley joined Graves on the Honorable Mention All-UAA list. At outside hitter, Mobley is second on the team and fifth in the UAA in total kills this season with 335 (2.84 per set). Along with her .224 hitting percentage, she has totaled 101 digs and 34 blocks.
Mary Claire Tuohy was a third Maroon to receive All-UAA Honorable Mention. The junior libero owns a team-leading dig total of 411 (3.42 per set). She also leads the squad in service aces with 38.
