Box Score CHICAGO – No. 8 University of Chicago men's tennis was back at home for the first time in over a month and returned to action against local foe Lewis. The Maroons battled and took two points in doubles play before they secured their tenth win of the season in a 6-0 sweep on the singles side in an 8-1 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- No. 8 University of Chicago (10-1) traded 8-7 matches in the first two doubles spots. Lewis came away with the point in the first slot, but the Maroons returned the favor with a 7-1 tiebreak win in the second doubles position. They had no issue in the third spot though and entered singles up 2-1.
- All six solo points went to the Maroons, most of which came easy. The one that was a little more difficult was the tally in the fourth singles match. Matthew Liew went down 1-0 but stormed back with 6-1 and 10-6 wins to help UChicago secure the 8-1 victory.
WHO'S ON DECK
A neutral site matchup against Kenyon is next up for the Maroons on Sunday, March 31
st. That contest will take place in Indianapolis at 12:00 pm eastern.
