ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's cross country team brought home a third-place finish from the Augustana Interregional Invitational in their final UAA Championship tune-up.

Katja Dunayevich led the Maroons with a fifth-place finish with a time of 21:47.8. Estelle Snider joined Dunayevich in the top 20 with a 17th-place finish with a time of 22:06.5.

Maggie Horn, Emma Kelly, and Nora Holmes rounded out the point-scorers for the Maroons with each finishing in the top 40.

In the blue division, Olivia Resnick and Elsa Krummel led UChicago with a pair of top-4 finishes. Resnick finished third with a time of 23:07.9, and Krummel finished fourth with a time of 23:10.5.

Seven UChicago athletes also recorded collegiate best times in the meet, including Sophie Ginsberg (23:34.3), Maggie Horn (22:28.4), Elsa Krummel (23:10.5), Eleanor McNichols (24:19.6), Lauren Moskal (23:47.8), Logan Rettino (23:40.4), and Rachel Singer (22:50.3).

The University of Chicago women's cross country team returns to action on Saturday, November 1, as they travel to Edwardsville, Illinois for the UAA Championships.
