Sarena Biria wrapped up her run at the ITA Cup on Saturday with a straight-set victory in the consolation semifinals against Karina Elvestrom from Gustavus Adolphus.
Biria took a commanding lead early in the match with a big break of serve to stretch her lead to 5-2, and she was able to take the opening set 6-3.
In the second set, the Kansas City native recorded two more breaks of serve to roll to the 6-3, 6-2 victory against a tough opponent from Gustavus Adolphus.
With the win, Biria wraps up her ITA Cup run with a 2-1 record overall, and she leads the Maroons with 11 singles wins during the fall season.
