CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's cross country team continues their 2025 season this weekend as they travel to Notre Dame and Augustana (IL) for a pair of split-squad meets on Friday and Saturday.

#18 UCHICAGO MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY NOTES:

* The University of Chicago men's cross country team has picked up back-to-back first-place finishes this season in the Lewis Early Bird Invite and the Gil Dodds Invitational.
* The Maroons currently sit at #18 in the USTFCCCA poll, improving by one spot this week.
* Liam Eifert and Noah Bender have eached brought home the top times in the opening meets for the Maroons.
* Vincent Crenshaw, Matthew Lund, and Luke Moore joined Eifert with personal best times at the Gil Dodds Invitational.
* The last time the Maroons ran in the Joe Piane Invitational, they brought home a 9th-place finish out of 16 teams, 14 of which were Division I programs.
* UChicago will look to win their first UAA title since 2004 and return to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth-time in the past seven years after missing it in 2024.
* Following this weekend's meets, the Maroons will return to Augustana (IL) for their final pre-UAA tune-up at the Augustana Interregional Invitational.
