CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's cross country team continues their 2025 season this weekend as they travel to Notre Dame and Augustana (IL) for a pair of split-squad meets on Friday and Saturday.

#4 UCHICAGO WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY NOTES:

* The University of Chicago women's cross country team has picked up back-to-back first-place finishes this season in the Lewis Early Bird Invite and the Gil Dodds Invitational.
* The Maroons currently sit at #1 in the Midwest Region and #4 in NCAA Division III in the USTFCCCA poll.
* Estelle Snider and Katja Dunayevich have each brought home the top times in the opening meets for the Maroons, and they each earned UAA Athlete of the Week honors for their performances.
* Eva Devlin, Emma Kelly, Cyd Kennard, and Rachel Singer all put up personal best times at the Gil Dodds Invitational.
* The last time the Maroons ran in the Joe Piane Invitational, they brought home a 3rd-place finish out of 19 teams, 17 of which were Division I programs.
* UChicago will look to bring home their fourth-consecutive top-3 finish in the NCAA DIII Championships after placing 2nd in 2022 and 2024 and 3rd in 2023. The Maroons are still looking for their first-ever National Championship in program history.
* The Maroons have finished top-2 in the UAA in each of the past eight seasons with UAA titles in 2022 and 2024.
* Following this weekend's meets, the Maroons will return to Augustana (IL) for their final pre-UAA tune-up at the Augustana Interregional Invitational.
