CHICAGO -- The 4th-ranked University of Chicago men's swimming and diving team takes a trip to St. Louis on Saturday for a top-10 matchup with #10 WashU. The meet will begin at 12 PM CT, and all live results can be seen on the Meet Mobile app.
#4 UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:
* #4 UChicago enters the weekend with a 3-0 record in dual meets after taking down #25 Lewis, Illinois Tech, and Wheaton (IL) in the opening weekend.
* The Maroons won four individual National Championships, broke two NCAA records and nine school records, and earned 15 All-America awards en route to a third-place finish at the National Championship meet.
* The four National Championships for the Maroons are the most in UChicago program history, and the third-place finish is their third-consecutive top-3 finish.
* 
John Butler earned UAA Men's Swimmer of the Week honors after recording seven first-place finishes in the first two meets of the season.
* 
Danyal Ghadiali swept all four diving events in the opening weekend with top scores of 246.35 in 1-meter diving and 271.90 in 3-meter diving.
* Freshman 
Ethan Taylor has been the top newcomer for UChicago with five first-place finishes in the opening two meets.

Alex Schwartz round out the Maroons that won multiple individual events in the opening weekend.
* The Maroons swept the National Championship in all three Freestyle Relay events last season. Prior to 2025, UChicago had won just two relay National Championships in program history.
* After their first road trip of the season, the Maroons will return to their home pool for a two-day meet on November 7-8 as they host the D3 Shootout with 10 top-level teams from across the country.
#10 WASHU NOTES:
* WashU enters the weekend with a 1-0 record on the season after taking down Saint Louis 172-103 in their season opener.
* The Bears brought home a fifth-place finish at the UAA Championships last season.
* WashU earned an eighth-place finish in the NCAA Division III Championships last season after recording 14 All-America performances in the meet.
* Freshman Parker Chan was outstanding in his collegiate debut, winning all four of his events. Chan won the 500 Free, 1000 Free, 200 Back, and 200 Medley Relay against the Billikens.
* Senior Matthew Walker added three event wins with victories in the 100 Fly, 200 Fly, and 200 Medley Relay.
* Ethan Feng joined Walker with three event wins in the 100 Free, 200 Free, and 200 IM.
* Following their dual meet with the Maroons, WashU will take a return trip to Chicago for the D3 Shootout on November 7-8.
SERIES HISTORY:
* WashU leads the all-time series with UChicago 4-3 dating back to 2016.
* The Maroons have won each of the past three meetings with the Bears, including a 159.5-127.5 victory last year.
