CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's wrestling team opens its season on Saturday at the Jim Fox Invitational in Dubuque, Iowa. The full brackets will be released at 9 AM CT on Saturday, and the matches can be watched live on FloCollege at the link above.

#13 UCHICAGO WRESTLING NOTES:
* The University of Chicago men's wrestling team enters the season ranked as the #13 ranked team in the country in the tournament-style poll.
* The Maroons earned a 24th-place finish at the NCAA Championships last season after
Sean Conway earned All-American honors with a runner-up finish int he 141-pound weight class.
* Conway became the first Maroon to wrestle in the National Championship match since 1992.
*
Gunnar Garriques also reached the National Championship meet last year for the Maroons, but he came up short in both of his matches.
* UChicago placed second in the UAA Championships in 2025, and
Jackson Rustad earned UAA Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Year after winning the 133-pound weight class.
*
Brendan Connolly and
Nicholas Cheshier joined Conway, Garriques, and Rustad by earning All-Region honors last season.
* Following the Jim Fox Invitational, the Maroons will return to action next weekend as they travel to Trine on November 8.
