ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's cross country took home another first-place finish on Saturday with several collegiate-best times in the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
Nora Holmes and
Olivia Resnick each brought home top-3 finishes for the Maroons in the meet with times of 23:08.4 and 23:24.1.
A trio of UChicago athletes ran collegiate best times to record top-10 finishes and lock up the meet victory.
Elsa Krummel finished fifth with a time of 23:41.7,
Logan Rettino finished sixth with a time of 23:46.0, and
Sophie Ginsberg finished ninth with a time of 23:57.2.
Lauren Moskal rounded out the top-10 finishers for the Maroons with a tenth-place finsih, and
Eleanor McNichols added the lone other collegiate best with a time of 24:34.3.
The University of Chicago will return to action on Saturday, October 18, as they travel back to Augustana (IL) for the Augustana Interregional Invitational in their final pre-UAA tune-up.
