CHICAGO -- The 7th-ranked University of Chicago women's swimming and diving team returns to their home pool on Friday afternoon as the Maroons host the Phoenix Fall Classic for their midseason meet. Prelims will begin at 10 AM CT on all three days with the Finals session at 5:30 PM CT on Friday and Saturday and 5 on Sunday. Diving will take place at 1 PM CT on both Saturday and Sunday.

#7 UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:

* #7 UChicago enters the weekend with a 4-0 record in dual meets after taking down #14 WashU, Lewis, Illinois Tech, and Wheaton (IL) in the opening four meets of the year.
* The Maroons broke seven school records and earned 20 All-America awards en route to a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
* Alicia Soosai was the top performer in the D3 Shootout with a pair of B Cut times in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast.
* Sophia Xu also added three B Cut times in the D3 Shootout, including the 200 Free, 200 Free Relay, and 800 Free Relay.
* Adelia Biello earned UAA Women's Swimmer of the Week honors after recording five first-place finishes in the first two meets of her collegiate career. Biello won the 100 Free, 200 Free, and 100 Fly as well as a pair of relay events.
* Alexandra Milisavljevic and Kylie Stuart have also added seven event wins through the first three events of the year. In the last dual meet win over #14 WashU, both freshmen won three events to lead the team to the victory over the Bears.
* Sumiye Allen followed up her two All-America performances last season by sweeping the diving titles in the D3 Shootout with a pair of B Cut scores in the meet.
* After hosting the Phoenix Fall Classic, the Maroons will break for the holidays before returning to the Myers-McLoraine Pool on January 10 against Northwestern.
