PITTSBURGH - The University of Chicago men's tennis team secured a 5-2 victory over #22 Carnegie Mellon on Saturday morning improving their record to 14-2 for the season. Carnegie Mellon, now 7-5, put up a tough fight but couldn't overcome the Maroons' depth and skill in singles play.
Doubles Recap:
Carnegie Mellon took an early lead, winning two out of three doubles matches. The #1 doubles pairing of Raghav Jangbahadur and Brendan Hendrata fell to UChicago's Andrei Leonov and Pat Otero, 6-4. However, the Maroons' #2 and #3 doubles teams were both lost to their Carnegie Mellon counterparts. The order of finish in doubles was 2, 1, 3.
