WHEATON, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's track and field team .
capped off the Wheaton Invitational on Saturday afternoon with seven top-2 finishes and 16 personal best marks in the meet.

Andrew Ray won the lone event for the Maroons as he brought home the 400m Hurdles title with a time of 53.25 seconds. Ray also finished second in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.07 seconds and the 4x400m Relay whose time of 3:19.09 ranks as the 8th-fastest time in program history.

Owen Mays also brought home a pair of top-2 finishes as he joined Ray on the 4x400m Relay team and finished in second place in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 56.74 seconds.

Aryan Shrivastava put up the top record book performance over the weekend as he bested his top career mark in the High Jump by 0.01 meters with the third-best jump in school history at 2.00 meters.

Simon Dixon joined Shrivastava with record book performances on the weekend as his mark of 52.27 meters in the Hammer Throw ranks as the fourth-best in program history. Dixon finished third in the event, and he added a second-place finish in the Discus Throw as well.

Following this meet, the Maroons will return to Wheaton on Thursday afternoon for the Don Church Invitational in their final UAA Championship tune-up meet.
