FINAL RESULTS

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- The University of Chicago men's track and field team earned their first top-2 finish in the UAA Outdoor Championships since 2011.

Andrew Ray led the Maroons with multiple UAA Championships in the 110m Hurdles and the 400m Hurdles as the lone UChicago player to win multiple events.

Simon Dixon and Allen Jiang added individual UAA Championships in throwing events. Dixon won the Shot Put with a mark of 16.21 meters, and Jiang won the Hammer Throw with a mark of 48.74 meters.

Sanju Patel won the lone distance event of the meet in the 5000m Run with a time of 14:39.27. Aryan Shrivastava also won the Triple Jump with a mark of 14.12 meters.

The 4x400m Relay team of Vincent Crenshaw, Malcolm McCormick, Caleb Krueger, and Quint Stein recorded the lone top-5 mark in the UChicago record book. The team finished in third place with a time of 7:48.73 which ranks 5th in school history.

Following the UAA Championships, the Maroons will set their sights on the National Championships with several tune-up meets in the coming weeks.
