RESULTS
ELMHURST, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's track and field team capped off the three-day Chicagoland Championships on Saturday with eleven top-10 finishes to lead the way for the Maroons.
Noah Bender and
Spencer May paced the Maroons on the second day of competition as they swept the top two spots in the 10,000 meter run. Bender ran a personal best time of 31:11.74, and May added a time of 31:33.48 in his second-place finish.
Quint Stein added the lone other first-place finish for an individual UChicago athlete as he ran the 9th-fastest time in school history at 1:53.87 in the 800m Run.

Owen Mays, and
Andrew Ray added the third and final event title for the Maroons as they ran a 3:22.27 to win the event.
Sanju Patel joined in on the fun with a second place finish in the 1500m Run as he finished second with a personal best time of 3:56.56.
Following the Chicagoland Championships, the Maroons will return to action next weekend as they travel to UW-Platteville on Friday and Wheaton (IL) on Saturday.
