CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago softball team will head to New York University to face the Violets for their last UAA road series. The Maroons are coming off a tough midweek doubleheader against Carthage on Tuesday night. 

UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:
* The Maroons come into the series with a 15-19 record on the year.
* UChicago has a top-25 wins after they took down #18 Emory in two of the three games.
* Paige Heffke has been huge for the Maroons on the mound. In 138.1 innings pitched, the senior has collected 107 strikeouts. 
* This season, Heffke leads the team with 11 wins and a 2.43 ERA. 
* Natalie Antin moved up to the top in hitting average for the Maroons this week. With a .373 through her 102 at bats, she has collected 38 hits, 10 runs, and 20 RBIs. 
* Sedona Ding is another player to watch for UChicago. The freshman has put on an impressive start to her collegiate career, starting and playing in all 34 games so far. In 97 at bats, she's recorded 32 hits, a double, 2 RBI and 26 runs. 
* Alana Kimball has also been another solid pitcher for Chicago. In 46 inning pitched, she's collected 13 strikeouts while only allowing 64 hits.
* Laila Sims recorded her 73 stolen base in Chicago's win over North Park. She now holds the All-Time Career Record in UChicago softball history with 74. 
* The Maroons will host Brandeis next week for their final series of the season.

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY NOTES:
* NYU enters the series with a 10-25 record. 
* Most recently, the Violets had a tough series against Emory were they fell 0-3.
* Alyssa Quary leads the team with a .364 batting average on the year. In 88 at bats she has 32 hits, two doubles, and 11 RBIs.  
* On the pitching side, Karleigh Kluever hold the lead with six 6 wins. In 80.1 innings pitched she's recorded 43 strikeouts.  
* Following their games against the Maroons, the Violets will host Hunter College on Tuesday.

* Chicago holds the upper hand in the series 7-0.
