ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's track and field team took to the track on Wednesday afternoon at Augustana in their final last chance meet of the season.

Andrew Ray led the Maroons with a school record in the 400m Hurdles. His time of 52.49 was good enough for a 3rd-place finish in the event, and it ranks as the #11 time in NCAA Division III this season.

Oluwaseyi Kadiri brought home the lone other top-5 finish for the Maroons as he finished in 4th place in the Triple Jump with the #21 mark in NCAA Division III at 14.64 meters. Kadiri also added the fourth-best mark in school history in the Long Jump at 6.86 meters.

Jackson Giampa's time of 10.71 seconds in the 100m Dash ranks third in UChicago history, and Owen Mays added the #4 time in school history in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 53.86 seconds.

On Thursday, Simon Dixon was the lone competitor for the Maroons, and he made it count as he bested his previous career best mark by 0.01 meters for a new #2 mark in school history at 16.87 meters.

With the final meet of the season now complete, the Maroons will wait to see which student-athletes have qualified for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio from May 22-24.
